Systems · Research firms and consultancies
Research is only as good as the sources underneath it — and sources move. Figures are revised, studies are retracted, licences change, feeds are restated. Evidence Chain binds every published figure to its source, watches those sources continuously, and tells you the same day when something underneath your work has shifted.
Who it is for
Firms that publish figures other people act on: research houses, indices, market analysts, policy units, and the consultancies that build models on top of them. It matters most where a single number carries weight — a valuation input, a benchmark, a regulatory submission.
What it costs
A fixed fee to deploy and configure it against your sources and your back catalogue, then a monthly retainer to run it. Deployed under your own brand if you are an agency putting it in front of a client. Exact figures depend on how many sources you carry and how deep the archive goes.
What the retainer covers
The unglamorous part, which is the whole point. Sources change their formats and their URLs. Feeds get versioned and retired. New publications need binding in. Someone has to work the exceptions and keep the record true — otherwise the system quietly stops being trustworthy, which is worse than not having one.
For the technically minded
There is a full working version of the system — the live dependency map from source to figure to deliverable to client, the exception queue with severity triage, and the complete audit pack behind any single figure including snapshot, checksum and chain of custody.
Both demonstrations use a fictional firm, fictional clients and illustrative figures. No client data appears anywhere.
Would this catch anything in your work?
Most firms are not sure, which is usually the answer. A short conversation is enough to find out whether this is a real risk for you.
