Systems · PR and corporate communications
Organisations speak constantly and remember almost none of it. A decade of releases, interviews, filings, calls and posts, made mostly by people who have since left. The Public Record turns that into a searchable, attributed archive and checks new material against it, so contradictions surface as an edit rather than as a story.
Who it is for
Corporate communications teams, PR agencies holding a client’s public voice, and organisations in regulated or heavily scrutinised sectors where consistency of statement is itself a compliance matter.
What it costs
A fixed fee to ingest and structure the existing archive — the depth of that archive is the main variable — then a monthly retainer to keep it current and run checks against it.
What the retainer covers
The record grows daily and has to be captured as it is made, not reconstructed later. Sources change, coverage disappears behind paywalls, and the check itself improves as the archive deepens. This is the system whose value most obviously compounds with time.
The walkthrough above uses a fictional organisation and illustrative figures. No client data appears anywhere.
Building this under your own name?
Most of what we build is deployed by agencies and consultancies under their own brand. We stay behind it.
